One thing you can do to help with noise reduction is to cut leather into the shape of washers... take apart the spring device and place a lether washer on both sides of the spring. Thios way the spring will not touch metalbut a lether washer. This will reduce squeking and clicking noise.

I would also go to an Ace Hardware (or whatever is in your area) and pick up silicone greese. I would remove all moving parts from the stilts and greese them with silicone. It will last longer then the stuff they use and will also reduce noise from moving parts.

2 cents...

not really sure what to do with the legs...

messed around a bit today and just started putting things on the stilts...
trying to avoid some of the "sunken leg" look.
its all just temporary right now... so if I like it I can copy it for the other leg and if not I can toss it
but I dont know...

I would shorten the front of your foot. It is a bit too long. It makes it harder to walk if it is so long. Overlap the front foot assemble on top of the stilt a bit.
You want to be able to have a natural walking gate. Even be able to do steps.....

trying a new approach with the feet and stilts...

got rid of the cardboard, wrapped with foam... everything seems to move better..
shorten the length of foot
going to add a lot more black duct tape once I get it painted
this seems to work better..
going to add the mesh and hair now I think... and paint the toes too..
