Hi everyone,

I'm brand new here, but was hoping some of the Chewbacca experts here could help me identify a part on the bandolier.

I've seen reference photos of a concho sort of thing with some kind of family crest logo on it but it doesn't seem to match the object in question.

Can anybody shed any light on or have better photo reference of the object indicated in my attachment?

Thanks a lot!

There were several different bandoliers throughout the original trilogy, probably three.

One has the coat of arms looking thing, with a straight taper:

Another has the simple metal disc you see there, along with a concave taper:

Another has no concho at all:

It looks like one of the metal discs on the bowcaster, actually.

Thanks a lot for the quick response!

Do you know if the metal disc greeble has been identified as a found part? If so, what is it and do you know if there any closer photos of it out there? I haven't seen any.

I'm making a bandolier and always liked the look of this larger disc.

Thanks again! Smile

That disc you have in that picture looks much like the disc on Hans holster... not sure how many different discs/ conchs they used.

Just picked up a set of used (already weathered!) Weaver scope rings. Getting closer! Unfortunately, now I'm out of disposable income for a few weeks. Next acquisition will be a Denix Mauser with wood grips...

Just got this in the mail:

Compliments of ElvisTrooper. Very well done. It has a few minor dings on it, most likely from shipping as he mailed it in an envelope, but no worries - it's weathered now...

Not sure if he is still selling them, but it may not be the same anyways... my eyes are starting to go I think... either that or I need coffee! Laughing

Thanks! I really do appreciate it.

I'll post a few pics of my bandolier when I'm finished.

Here's a few photos of my Bandolier that I made for my daughter's Chewie costume. She's only 2 and 1/2 so everything is scaled down. Very Happy

Thanks again for the help. I ended up making that greeblie based on photos of the Han Solo belt part that you suggested here. Very Happy

It looks like they might have painted an English coin. It looks like the Royal Crown.
Not sure what English coins looked like back in the seventies.
