My helmet is now complete, with maybe some weathering to do on the new decals:

My last name is Blackburn, so I went with a black and red color scheme, and a 300-inspired theme:

It says "With your shield or on it."

The helmets on the sides are stylized Senate Guards, similar to the Spartan helmets.

"Molon Labe" or, "Come and take it."

Absolutely beautiful work. Always a fan of the Classics:)

My lightsaber is inscribed "I tan, i epi tas." (With your shield, or on it.)

That's awesome!

I love 300, and what the Spartans stood for. I thought that a Rebel would have the same feelings towards the Empire: want my blaster? Come and take it.

Bill, I love that you've taken something modern and tweaked it enough so that it works in the SW universe. Kudos!

This is my helmet. I kept it simple, but I'm pleased with how it came out. The flash washed out most of the weathering in the first picture, so I took it outside and snapped another without flash. I still need to pad out the helmet and attach the mic tip, but it's good enough to costume in tonight. I think I'm about ready to submit my costume for legion approval.

Just ran through 42 pages of helmets over a few days; you guys, these are AMAZING. Lots of inspiration; I can't wait to get started on my own design! Y'all rock!

After working on my own helmet and the abysmal job I did (of painting) I'm even more impressed with the helmets on display here. You guys make it look so easy!

I'm boring as i have gone with the simple grunt helmet:

But this helmet will be added to in the future as it will receive something new every time i troop in it so that the more i troop the helmet the more artwork it gets. That way all the marks are earned as right now I'm a cadet with no kills and no honours to my name.
