The Jedi cape with the hood. I remember seeing them walk around with them closed in some scenes...
here is an example...

You could use a small black hook and eye. I don't worry with mine, if I have it closed, I'm usually wrapped in it because it's cold or raining. Lol |

So i guess what I'm asking is, is that the velcro or hook eye accetable for a Generic standard Jedi costume?
I'm thinking of making another robe.. a brown one this time... not purple _________________ "Sometimes it takes courage to stick to one's beliefs, young Padawan, as any Jedi well knows. " |

my Dave is looking at making his Jedi accessories... but we are having problems finding AUS size 11 mens' boots suitable. I understand others have the same problem (we can't afford to get the custom made ones this year.. too many whitegoods are dying)...
any suggestions for cheap temporary boots in Adelaide or Australia or can arrive cheaply and within two weeks? |

you can pick up boots pretty cheaply on ebay- they are usually not great quality if they are cheap but they can do for the short time. The other problem might be your 2 week time frame unless you pay express postage. _________________

Greetings All,
*Finally* getting a costume ready for approval.
However, the new trousers I ordered seem a bit too dark compared to the ones they're replacing:
I mostly wanted the new ones as they'd be warmer for SydNova
Thoughts? Would the darker ones get me approval, or should I send them back and try again?
Incidentally, here's how the whole costume is looking with the darker trousers:
Still need to paint my gun, and get my belt boxes and rank badge.
Thanks in advance.
Be seeing you,

Looking great, but I do tend to think those new pants might be a little too dark honestly. Ask Schph Gochi, she would be best to ask. _________________
