Double post for big news! Application was just submitted a few minutes ago. Here are the pics:

What do you all think? These pics include the static Graflex saber I will be using/upgrading for my RL costume. Hopefully, I will be approved.....I'm concerned that I won't be though! I can't think of anything specifically that will prevent my admission, but I am still worried.... Confused

am no expert, but you might want to pull the tabards in a bit closer
together so they're not so far apart on the front. also, a shot or two
wearing a robe is usually considered for formal status. on the back of the
belt, bring the keeper around so the velcro isn't showing, but that's me.
good luck with the submittal

Thanks for the pointers. Yeah, I can see what you're talking about in regards to the tabards. But as to the robe, I thought it was just one of the many formal requirements, and you only needed 3? I thought I covered the formals with the pouches, food capsules, and inner tunic.

yeah, you're right....it looks like you've got what you needed. the robe
is one of the formal requirements, but guess you can get that in the
future if you want.

Yup. That's what I was planning on doing. Hadn't decided between TwinRoses, MystikMerchant, or Speedy Stitches yet, though.

I would lean towards the former two personally. My current robe is the latter. While I like it, I plan on going for a new one (partially because length isn't as I desire or need)

Sorry for the double post. I just finished construction on my trooping saber! It uses a Luxeon Rebel Quad green, each LED run at 1.5A. Here are some pics, but with a blade with crinkled diffuser material, so its not nearly as bright as it is now:
