Friday will be the soonest I can get with you, so feel free to try between now and then, it does help a bit; I'm just going to really concentrate on this one between now and then I need to get more supplies anyway before I can do much else. I'll have to talk to Sarah about working on Friday.

I started on that one because worst case you can make two of that side and cut off the extra to get the shorter side. But yeah I will see if I can talk my wife into letting me get some bondo later this week too and work on the this one.

Well, today was the vac forming class at the local community hackerspace/workshop, so I took the pieces for a test run. They just had out thin plastic, but I figured it was good for a test run.

One I had pretty much finished (a top layer of foam coat over the bondo I'd been using to fill in the pits), the other just a layer of bondo and glazing putty, but about ready for a final foam coat.

lessons learned? W/o the foam coat, the bondo cracks and not-quite dried putty melts Smile

But, I did a quick trim and taped them together:

This one is WAY too big for me and needs to be trimmed down. I feel like I'm getting close on the masters now.
