That looks great. The only thing I'm not 100% confident on is the leather obi and belt. I want to say yes you are good to go ahead and submit but PM a legion costume judge 1st to check or Jedimaster Mark would also be abule to tell you. The standerds don't say no leather obis so I think your fine there. The belt has a good buckle but the general belt it's self is a bit diffrent. Agin I am not a LCJ pm them. Even if they say no to that after you get formal I would submit that as informal looks very cool. You are very close if not there already you got all big parts all 3 things for formal. Good job! Do me a favor let me know what the LCJs say because I'm wondering my self.

thanks so much! yeah the belt is a bit "different" than a generic Jedi belt. It's actually based off the concept of an Imperial Knight, but I just thought it looked pretty heavy duty/hardcore (which I thought was kinda cool). I'm going for a grey Jedi vibe.

As it turns out, I'll be attending a Halloween party this afternoon near me with the family in full costume and there are supposed to be a bunch of RL & 501st members there, so I'll be curious to see what they have to say.
I'll keep you posted after I formally submit for approval. Thanks so much again for the advice!

Your welcome always happy to help. Have fun tonight should be a blast always is with 501st and RL. Like I said I would Pm and LCJ befor submission but that's your call. If you do get shot down with that obi/belt Combo I would say go with black fabric obi and an ep.3 Aniken belt to ceep the black. You can get an ok one off of eBay with 3 working pouches and 6 food pellets (you could resell on here easy). It's pleather though but holds up good only costs about 60. Hope what you have now works though looks realy cool. I could see a Zabrak Jedi wearing that.... I butchered that spelling I no.

Greetings,

I just volunteered at my first Star Wars Event as a handler with the 501st at the Binghamton Senators Game and am working on a Generic Prequel Jedi Costume to be approved with the Rebel Legion. Due to limited funds, I plan to purchase most of the pieces and due to limited funds plan to keep it extremely simple for now.

David Ramsay has already started helping me by providing the following links:

http://rebellegion.com/about_standards2.php?id=39468

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Obi-Wan-Kenobi-BELT-Brown-jedi-costume-prop-star-wars-ROTS-Obi-accessories-/150800008012?pt=US_Costumes&var&hash=item231c61834c

Any additional help folks here could provide would be greatly appreciated.

Jeff M.
