I'm doing this one for my older son. Are there any resources for the pistol and holster? I was surprised they were required in the standards but thems the rules.

Joel, I'm making an embroidery file for the Alderaan image on the shoulders. If you have access to an embroidery machine I can send you a file.

I was able to acquire the pistol off the RPF forums and I already have the emblems for the Alderaan symbols.
What I really need to know is about the holster and how the cloak is put together to go over the head and under the arm.

The blaster I saw on the RPF was $150 and I don't have that kind of money at the moment. I'm still curious why it's required; troopers I can understand since they are seen with their weapons, but Bail is a senator and they don't go around brandishing their blasters. This requirement has really put a crimp in my progress. It just makes no sense, especially since it's a really hard-to-find item.

The cloak is a rectangle with the neck opening cut off-center. I was going to take the arm drape and tack part of it to the back of the cloak to make the "sleeve".

I wish I had a way to get a mold of the one that I have. It might be easier to make a "replica" out of wood since it is a blocky weapon
I will be more than happy to send you pics of the one I have if you know someone who can make a cheap wood knockoff

Well it doesnt have to be exact...just close....it can even be a solid piece of wood if you have a dremel and time.
Just a thought if you know someone who is good with tools

Maybe I'll make one out of painted cardboad. It doesn't specify what materials. Laughing
