Always good to see another Endor trooper in Echo Base!

Some constructive criticism...

-The rank badges don't quite match RotJ...contact Phyllis (Schph Gochi) on the Rebel trooper boards, she sells a VERY good resin replica.
-The vest is lacking many of the details like the quilted shoulder but could possibly be used as a base for modifications [but I don't know much about this, I'm a trenchcoat trooper myself]
-The gaiters look good but are rather droopy...I'm having the same issue. Perhaps back them with some batting? That's what I'm thinking about doing.
-D'you have a better shot of the donut and helmet?
-Weather the gloves, but they seem good.

What kind of pack are you looking at getting, soft or hard?

This is an amazing deal on an accurate rucksack.

Off to a great start! *salute*

The helmet and donut definitely need some work, no offense meant. Have you seen the tutorials on the endorbunker Yahoo group? What pattern did you use for the soft helmet and what material is the donut?

i have not seen the endorbunker tutorial. I did not use a template for the helmet. But I used pepakura for the donut and resined, then rondo'd it.

http://groups.yahoo.com/group/endorbunker/ This group is absolutely invaluable when it comes to ERT making. I'm sorry to say it, but I think the donut and helmet are too roughly-made. You'd be better to start from scratch and remake them according to the tutorials on that site. Don't let that discourage you, though...if everyone got it right on the first try we wouldn't have a costume build forum Very Happy now as for the rucksack, you're talking about modifying it...what exactly are you going to do to it? I got mine approved unmodified but have since added a rank badge and conduit hose...but no modifications were made to the pack itself.

Always check with us before buying something...it's better to buy it accurate once than have to redo everything, of course. Not sure what we approve or not, but it's very easy to find Czech 2-pocket rucksacks JUST like the film online.

What pattern did you use for the vest and how is the blaster coming?
