Hey guys ! I'm Ritin Kornas, from RL French Base.

After a year (with no time for it during a couple of month) if finnaly achieve my tottaly self-made senate guard, episode 1 version.

I wear it for the first time the last week end at the FACTS 2010 convention in belgium. I'm pretty happy with the result.

It's waiting the approval (normally, i've a little doubt about this, can't we see our new costumes in submission ? have we to wait the approval to see them ?)

Here are the ref pics i use to make all this : http://picasaweb.google.com/Ritin.Kornas/PhotosDeReferencePourSenateGuard#

with also this 2 pics

So my helmet is made in fiberglass with lot of work Smile
The robe is a heavy velvet for rooms or chair... hard to sew ^^^thanks my mother for the help.
The gloves are those in satin for opera or weddings, bought in USA via ebay.
Finally the weapon is 3 part, and in wood, metal and pvc Wink

you can see lots of pics of the conception here :

and here are the final pics :

and side

For the crest i've found somewhere they do brush, there they can do polyethylene crest at the rigth size (15 cm high) but it's quite expensive, so i'll will upgrade this when i will have some money !

I'll soon make a tutorial, i will post it here also.

Tell me what you think about it Wink bye !

Very nice. The sides of the robe seem shorter than the rest of the robe though. Or is that an illusion?

Just giving this topic a bump. Did everyone know that Senate Guards can join the Rebel Legion Galactic Senate? It's not just for Leias and Padmes! Wink

Ritin -

I don't suppose you'd know where I could get one of those open faced helmets from Episode One, do you?
