So not to confuse any costumers:

While SWRD is happening all over the place on Ocotber 6th, DK is sponsoring the four SW clubs at those location listed on its spreadsheet. This means DK is not sponsoring the four SW clubs at all Barnes and Noble stores.

Yipee! You've got an R2 for the Springs, mine in Aurora, and Cal's at the SRS one up north. I think I've got R2's covered. There is a Loveland B& N event listed along with a library event. Which one do you prefer Cal's droid at? Or is it his choice? Contact him with details, please.

T-Shirts have been ordered per the roster as of September 11, 2012. Jeff/Kin will be handing out the shirts at the Aurora event. I will take of both Springs stores.

WE HAVE A PROBLEM, STAR WARS COSTUMERS!

There is a scheduling conflict at the briargate store regarding the 2-4PM time slot. In planning I have asked the duration of the events be around 90 – 120 minutes long at each store with a minimum break between the stores of two hours. I have mentioned we will be ready to go at least eight minutes before our start time.

What I need to know from you all is how flexible are you that day. Ideally if you are open the entire day that would be perfect.

One idea that was mentioned was to have the briargate time frame be 5-7PM. This means we would have the afternoon open. Another was to switch the times with the stores; reduce the duration and between the stores times.

I will keep you all informed.

If the 2nd event is from 5-7 after the first event we can have an extended lunch, watch a movie, go to the zoo, cut the grass, do the laundry, etc..

The Barnes & Noble Briargate Store Event will be from 5-7PM, arrival time 4PM for set up.

With the change of time, please confirm if you are still able to participate. I have placed a ‘*’ next to your name as an indicator needing confirmation.

The Barnes & Noble Citadel store has already started advertising the event mentioning our appearance.

Anyone wanting to join in the setup plans with the stores please PM me. I will be meeting with the coordinators soon.

Remember this event is to promote literacy and DK will be making a donation to charity on behalf of the four SW clubs. Thanks for your participation

There's a possibility that I may have to bow out of the Aurora troop. An opportunity to troop closer to home has come up. Oh, and that is assuming that I can get the time off to...
