Wow... Had it been a year since I started this project?? Yes... Life got in the way. Oh well, progress on the eight Mos Espa Base (Indiana) A-wing pilots is being made finally.

However, I am running into a snag... I'm trying to make the ANH15 flight caps, and the pattern I have is doo-doo, way too small (might fit a Hobbit). Does anyone have a proper pattern? Otherwise I might try to extrapolate what I have...

This is the pattern for the ANH15 that I have, btw:

Can you scan the pattern into your computer and enlarge it a few inches? Or maybe you could add a few inches to each edge of the pattern pieces?

A few years ago I got a pattern from someone here on the RL forum, but I can't remember who it was from now... Sorry I can't be of more help with that.

The pattern you see above is what I transposed and cut out and sewn up as a prototype. I was thinking about looking at a pic of the helmet on a person, and measure and enlarge accordingly.

Wow, that came out really nice. I'm impressed!

I ask everyone I see now... but how was the weathering done on that? Did you rub watered-down black paint on with a cloth or something?
