Hey everyone!

New member to the forums, working on my first outfit. Talked to John Dittmyre, and he recomended a RFT setup, due to it being easier and more cost effective (college student, funds are somewhat limited Razz)

So I was looking for someone to help guide me through, so I don't waste money and time. I'd greatly appreciate it!

UPDATE:

I went through the listing of all the gear needed, and put together a list of what I thought I needed. If someone could look over it, and let me know how I'm doing, or offer any suggestions, I'd be very grateful. Thanks!

There are a lot of resources over in our Yahoo Group:
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/endorbunker/

You will have to join.

The Endor Costume Standards here on this board:
http://www.rebellegion.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=36059

And the CRLs:
http://www.rebellegion.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=8863

Between those three resources, you should be able to put everything you need together.

Thanks! I've been looking at all the things to put together, seems fairly simple. Is there any place to look for used boots? I'd like to get them cheaper if possible than the 80 dollar pair I saw someone post about.

The boots appear to be too short....should be mid calf...13-15" tall usually...

The vest looks ok...

Pants have to have cargo pockets...since you don't have a link above...don't want to assume which Dickies...

If you are not already a member of this group...you might want to join:

http://movies.groups.yahoo.com/group/tantive/?yguid=122878206

There are helmet options there...

and...

also...
for what things are supposed to look like...

Large is what size I wear. Or do I need an XML or a different size for some reason since I know I need to modify the shirt.

when I saw you put 2X on the shirt...I thought you meant you take a 2 XL

If large is your size...then large is your size...order your size...

If you are looking for a good pair I promote atthefront.com they are out of Columbia, KY. I bought my pair from them and they are great! I also bought them in 2009.

Def interested! Putting ordering on hold for a bit until my classes start just to make sure I have money left over so it'll be a week or so until I know for sure.

Is there a reason no one wants to refer to the "what you need" thread? It has links for many of the items.

http://www.rebellegion.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=35950

The Barre Army/Navy gray SWAT pants are the best RFT pants, IMO.

Also, try to avoid BDU items that are ripstop. They didn't have ripstop fabric in the 1970s.

lol...
that link is also here:

Pretty much all of the information you need is here...or at the Yahoo Group...complete with links...

BUT

I guess that some (understandably) are looking for an option that is less expensive?
