The shoulder tucks are easy enough to add with the 5840. I added them, Of course I'm narrow through the shoulders, being a girl and all, so I had extra fabric at hanging off the shoulders that drove me batty.

I've re-cut mine in a much smaller size, It looks like I'll still have plenty of fabric to do the shoulder tucks though.

Yeah I'm going to add them on mine from that pattern but they aren't needed to pass. But they do look good.

When I added mine it was to take the shoulder width in. I wasn't intending on applying until I wore it at a halloween party and a 501st member suggested that it might pass.

I originally was going to rip out the whole shoulder and just bring the whole thing in... instead I added the tucks. Very Happy I think they look cool.

Same here, I'm working on a short sleeved tunic and the sleeves are looking like they are going to be a bit too long so I'm looking at adding the tucks to shorten them up and tighten the look of the shoulders. I made the tunic a little large figuring it was better to make a little large than a little small.

I wanted to provide an update on my Jedi costume.

Last weekend we bought the fabric and cut out all the pieces. My sewer is out of town but I plan on returning next weekend and hopefully we will get it all sewn. I'm pretty excited to finally get my new tunic and tabards done and approved in time for CVI and events in KC for the fall!

I don't suppose anyone has any extra food pellets lying around anywhere? That would be the last item on my list...

The Staples by Z and I has had the pens for them pretty regularly. My wife's got a set her and her coworkers are using right now, as soon as they're empty, I'm going to convert them. Or, they're about $10 a package if you just want to buy them fresh now...

Thanks. I guess I didn't realize there was a Staples around here. Last time I had checked (years ago), the closest one was Columbia. I'll see what I can find.

These are the ones you're looking for: http://www.staedtler.com/liquid_point_5_7_gb

It's the Staples at Zona Rosa (I-29 and Barry Rd.).

I made my obi and tabards last weekend and started my food pellets. Today I am sewing my outer tunic and painting my food pellets. Then I'll be done!
