I recently bought over my XO's previously cleared endor trooper - and am also currently cleared with it

It had an original costume base vest which required a bit of modding:
(1) quilted right shoulder
(2) pockets shortened
(3) capped the previously simple short sleeves

I (meaning my wife) cut down the pockets, salvaged the excess cloth there, then quilted the right shoulder piece with it. Creative cutting and sewing back on the short sleeves to make it capped. he was a genius!

I didnt quite like the over green-ness of my current set up, so started experimenting with paints available in the UK

Oasis Moss green, Hunters green, Basil and HolidayGreen.

And also updated my weapon from an E-11 to a A280 Very Happy

And lastly - although I am cleared with this soft pack:

I finally fd a place in the UK stocking the Czech backpack Very Happy

Once its all together - I will throw together a completed pic Very Happy

Nate

Outstanding!

It's great to see when people make improvements and increase the accuracy of a costume.

Thanks for showing your tweaks and upgrades, Nate. I think you're right with toning down the brightness of the trousers.

I'm sure, knowing your attention to detail, it will be tip-top! Thumbs up

Yep....it looks much better with muted colors

kudos!

If you used some of those "Design Master" floral paints (don't know if those are available in the UK) or something similar...you will find as you wash the pants....those colors do mute down on their own each time you wash them...

I have worn mine often...and washed often...so from time to time I have to "add" a little more paint and...I always do try to leave some of the tan of the pants showing...so I try not to overdo it...
