Just finished it up this weekend. Still have a few tweaks left to do, but overall, it is there.

The helmet is stormtrooperguy's, with S4 armor from KW designs. It has been a fun build, can not say enough about the great quality of all the gear. This still took a lot of work, but it was easier than my realistic build once I sorted it out.

Excellent job! Id you take any pics during your build? Any recommendations for new folks looking to build a phase 2 clone?

Plenty of photos lol! Phase 2 Rex is really rough, he has seen a lot of action! Luckily we have plenty of reference photos to look at. The blue is almost worn off, really sanded. Lots of black and grey grime, but the photos sort of wash it out. The weld lines are just testors light blue trimmed with "rust" on the edges.

The KW kit is really a great piece of kit. Excellent lines where you need to cut, functional pouches, all sorts of cool touches. I was really amazed at the quality. I am 6'0" and 200, and I pushed the edges of the armor. I had to expand it out to include the "flash" edges on the cod, and expand the back of the ABD section almost 2 inches. This made the chest not fit flush, so I had to mold in an extension to make the sides fit.

I'm happy to answer any questions for folks looking at doing a build like this. Stormtrooperguy paved the way, I just jumped on his bandwagon! Thanks for leading the way!

Yep! All approved for RL! I actually trimmed too much off the blue panels on the pauldron, I ordered new ones and am going to redo it.

Great work, Edwin! Love the weathering. Very subtle.

Wow... and I do mean WOW!

I SO want to hav an animated Clone... Either ARC Captain N-11 "Ordo" or Commander Wolf comes to mind... I DROOL over those designs as much as for The F2 Rex... but since there already are some around and more in the making, Ordo and Wolf are my prime choices.

Too bad the animated armor is so expensive... Neutral
