What's even more ironic is I posed in front of a garage door at first, but the person taking the photo said there wasn't enough contrast and moved me in front of the brick wall to help with the photoshop job.

Sorry, I wish I'd insisted he take it in both places Sad

Here's one with less brick and more window and plants if that helps. Its in the album I sent the address in my application...

looks great, how did you do the inside of your helmet? I have not been able to figure out what the best way to make it would be. Foam, hard hat suspension? how to attach it?

I just got some 1" foam at the fabric store. You can see a bit of it there behind my ear. Its ok. I'm still trying to figure out something that I don't have to ask people if the bowl is still straight all the time.

thanks, I got some foam and sticky-back velcro at jo-ann's today. Should let me make some re-position-able helmet padding :-)

I was going to go with the foam method too of lining my helmet. Is there a pic out there that shows the positioning of the foam? Also, I need to fix the chin strap on my helmet. How is it attached?

Stick it (foam) in so it stays on your head.

Screen used have what looks like an 6 or 8 armed starfish shape.

Where the chinstrap attaches depends on how you built your helmet. I modified a safety helmet, so the chinstraps attach to the remains of the hard hat.

Otherwise you can attach to the bolts that hold the "swoop" on and the comm box

EDIT to remove the IMG link.

I will have to try to remember to post some photos of the inside of my helmet..

I do have a hard hat suspension system in my RFT bucket..
just the suspension piece...not the hard hat...
the suspension is mounted using 4 industrial strength velcro pieces on the inside of the helmet that match the 4 connecting points on the suspension system...

chin strap is attached at one side with the mounting screw to the comm box and a piece of black velcro sewn to the chinstrap at the end with a corresponding piece of white industrial velcro to the inside of the helmet...

I might have to do that to my Imperial Navy Trooper helmet. That looks much better than foam.
