Yea, mini-droid con!!!
Looks like all are scheduled to be in town Saturday.
Can the droids get a group droid shot with and without 'wetware'?

Wow, I'm glad I can take a joke, who wants to help me with R&D for a guidance system for Bucky?

This would be awesome with My Little Pony dolls! ROTF

Could definitely do a break out shot after the group shot on Saturday or maybe before or after the event.

Excellent!
So you're both bringing both costumes down?
Do you want to do one on one day and one on the other? Or a 1/2 day in each on each day?
Fine with me, just let me know so I know where to station you (different stations for different costumes).
Thanks!

In that case Nicky i guess we'll armor for 1/2 and xwing for 1/2 both days.
There will be chances to have short breaks out of the armor right?
Thanks

Absolutely! Everyone will get a 1/2 hour break each day for lunch and you can take 5-10 min breaks as needed throughout the day.
Once I get the schedule posted you can let me know if it looks do-able for you and Jack or if you'll need more downtime.

Aw, can't wait to complete my build so I can attend things like this. (I don't need much of an excuse to get into costume lol!) Maybe I'll just pop out to say hello, it looks like amazing fun! You guys rock!!

From the pictures I've seen of your Jedi costume, you could probably come as a squire (sort of a costumed character handler) for this event, but keep in mind the museum is in Rochester so that would be almost a 6 hour drive for you I think.

If you really think you'd be making the trek, let me know and I can get you the details on how to get your costume "event only" approved by Excelsior's Membership Liaison.

I take that as a compliment, seeing as that means I'm only a few pieces away from "official" ;p

Sent you a pm--the more people I meet, the more I know how much i'll enjoy being an active member of Rebel Legion!

I agree, it's right up there with being drunk, or high on drugs. Just doesn't make sense, and in reality, it is not a good idea.

But, I am glad that it's just for the museum event, because theres one guy, who at every event he's seen me in my dengar, has asked me to pick his kid up for a pic.

Verily. Good thing that all of our members have the sense to keep their proclivities, legal or otherwise, outside of sanctioned events, and never engage in activities that would endanger the event goers or their guests. And that our members are (mostly) of a high enough moral caliber to refrain from libelous or defamatory accusations against others of the group, especially while lacking any substantive proof that may be required in a proceeding of a judicial nature.

Sounds to me like someone is still planning to break the rules, though.
