I just double checked the CRL's for the X-wing Pilot and I couldn't find a rule on the blaster belt. I was thinking of getting a rig from Light Speed Imports.

Anyone have any thoughts on the style of the belt?

Anyone have any experience with Light Speed Imports and/or their products?

Cheers.

Brett

There aren't really any standards for a gun rig, just as there aren't really any for the blaster itself. Most pilots have followed the following general specs...

1. brown or black in color
2. leather
3. large metal buckle : either akin to the RFT or Luke's oval in the Yavin ceremony.
4. most rigs are either Luke's ESB belt rig (pouches optional) or Han's gunslinger one.
5. gun rig isn't needed for costume submission. Don't forget the web belt listed in the standards or you'll be denied.

That's not to say you couldn't come up with a variation depending on the style of firearm you choose. Cross-draws and shoulder holsters are also allowable.

And sorry, have no experience or knowledge of Lightspeed.

I'd say they should be passable, but I don't know if they're reliable or anything. I've never heard of this seller before.

Yeah, they'd pass in brown or black, but BE CAREFUL... when you don't make it yourself, you run the risk of the rig not fitting your blaster. (And that would suck.)
