Can someone provide insight into the headset worn by the Falcon crew? Are they similar to the ones worn by the Rebel Techs in the Home One bridge/briefing scenes (see link below)? This also brings another question to mind that I will post sometime soon (I need to stew on it first).

In ANH, the headsets worn by Han and Luke when they were manning the Falcon's gun turrets, worn by Rebel pilots and by flight techs were the same: Racal Amplivox RA-150 "Minilite".
It appears to my eyes that the Rebel gunner who was manning one of the Falcon's turret in a deleted scene from ROTJ was wearing one too, but with the mic tip taken off.

I can't tell whether the Rebel aide on Home One was wearing a Racal Minilite headset, because I have only that picture to go by and most of the headset would be on the other side of his head. The Racal Minilite is grey, but it could have been painted.

Richies Armor has sold replicas of the headset before. I have a mic tip from them, anyway.
A real, vintage headset would sell for $150. It has been used in other films also, including Aliens and James Bond films, but it is mostly the interest from Star Wars collectors that has inflated the price. Wink

Just keep scouring ebay. I picked one up for less than 100 years ago.

I found the picture of the "Unknown Rebel aide" in better resolution. He is not wearing the Racal headset.

Dewka,

Once you make a minilite cast, would you be interested in selling one?
