Did you try Dickies? They've got some nice coveralls (it's what I use for my B-wing pilot), and they've got grey. The coveralls I use are these, but red, of course. They're not cheap, though. Sometimes you can find them on sale.

The only problem may be the shade of gray. It may be too dark for a Y-wing pilot, but it's hard to tell from the crappy pictures. There are other coveralls there, though, with other grays.

If worst came to worst you could always buy a pair of these and try dying them. But that would probably be more trouble than it's worth.

Looking at Red Kap, they do have these coveralls, and come in gray without the herringbone texture. Maybe that would work?
It's hard to tell by the tiny swatches what exactly the colors look like. I wish they had pictures of the actual coveralls in each color rather than a digitized version of a similar color. Their swatches aren't even pictures of the material itself, just a similar digital color.

over on the Imperial side of things I wrote what has pretty much become the standard tutorial for coveralls. The only diff here is shin pockets and no cogs.
I use Automotive Workwear model CT10 coveralls.
Also watch the site before every US holiday, they go on sale constantly.

I'm pretty close to committing to ordering a flightsuit from cosplaysky.com myself.
Has anyone had any experience with this vendor?
The grey suit they show online looks pretty accurate. Just leave off the cogs.
