Why isn't it approvable? Not enough resources?

That's my understanding, yes.
There are 3 different pieces, but none of the Dorman works show the back of the cape so nobody knows for sure what it looks like. Rolling Eyes

Looks like there'll be more. Matt Busch is doing a bunch of Dark Empire cards for Topp's Galaxy 7 set.

Darkside costume? He's a hero and he's wearing it when depicted as a hero and a "villain". We've got several characters now that switch sides that are acceptable here this should be too. ROTS Anakin, Cody, etc...

Agreed! Fact is, Luke Skywalker was working undercover in the "Dark Empire" storyline; the same as Quinlan Vos did in "Republic" comic series. It's true that his sense of purpose got a bit murky the longer he pretended to embrace the dark side of the Force, but don't let the outfit fool ya... Luke Skywalker is always supposed to be a RL/light side costume.

My opinion on this costume was that even though he was the emperor's apprentice at the time in this series, he was not a villian. He wastempted by the dark side he was not sith nor was he a dark sider.

So i would think that this would fall under jsut another variation for luke skywalker.

The question becomes (and I know Matt and see him regularly at cons since he's local here in Michigan) whether Matt's pics line up with the Dorman ones I based my costume on.

As far as which group this would fit into, I shall let others hold court on that subject (and feel free to by all means). I'll just have this as something different to wear at cons. If it never goes any further than that, then so be it. Wink

Personally I think that this costume should be one that goes both ways, while he's Luke and Luke is always meant to be a hero, he was going kinda shady at this point, and probably should be termed "grey Jedi" by this point (we all know he pulls himself back out of the greyness and goes full on good guy after this) ^_^ regardless of what the decision eventually is I'm looking forward to seeing this costume in person at CVI

^_^

There are 3, but none of them give you a 360 degree view of the back and everything. Crying or Very sad
