@ Furiafelina. I am blessed with an embroidery machine. I digitized the design from the picture in "Dressing a Galaxy" and used Metallic thread. Took FOREVER!!! lol

I'll add that to the shopping materials list, haha!
Great job!

Thanks for the embroidery file!!!! Very Happy

First test came out great!

Working on headpiece now. Made the head base with plaster bandages, and had a friend cast resin over it. I'm trying to cut the shape right to then start the process of giving it texture and finally painting it.

This head dress is a PITA! We made a plaster mold of her head so it would fit right.. then cut out the extra and plastered the plastic "snork" on. Lot's of fabric in layers, paint, hair, etc. I just have to get the ears on there, shape the rams here and there, and we're done. We also went a bit too big on the jewel and got a 30mm, so we have a 25mm on the way and will re-sculpt the setting when that arrives. This should be set for the EP1 troop on Saturday.

pay no attention to the crafting tornado that hit the table Mr. Green

What's your trick with the hair/getting it to hold still/keep its shape/not fly everywhere?

I used a crafting foam hoop, cut out the bottom, then shaved it down a the top and tapered it. Then I taped batting down to give it the fare and covered everything with legs from tights. Our hairdresser jedi pal was tasked with wrapping the MASSIVE amount of hair on it, which is held down by bobby pins and aqua net Very Happy
