Sign up for the monthly email newsletter at MouseSavers.com
In it, there will be a link for Undercover Tourist's Mouse Savers discounts.

Undercover Tourist is an authorized park ticket broker, that sells tickets at a slight discount, the Mouse Savers link gives you and additional slight discount, however you get a big discount on tickets because if you are located out of state, they are sold tax-free and are mailed to you for free.

I used them last year and saved a bundle on pre-purchased Universal tickets for my family.

I have yet to determine how I'm getting there, but I will be there. The only variable is how much stuff I have with me, and with my current plan I may have something that cannot fit on a plane - even if it was checked oversize.

Thanks Brack for that information.

I really want to see the new Star Wars Tour @ DL and Harry Potter @ Universal.

Sorry I haven't been on these boards for awhile. If you are flying out to CVI and need a way to get your stuff there (especially weapons) I will be driving my motorhome (the Beast) pulling a 5X8 trailer if needed (depends on how much stuff I can fit in the "basement"). All I ask is whatever you can afford for gas to get your stuff to you. I'm leaving Friday Aug 17th and getting back late Saturday Sep 1st. You can pick up your stuff (or I can deliver) on Sunday the 2nd or the following Friday 7th.

I'm also looking for someone to come along with me, just to keep me awake if nothing else while I drive. If you have nothing to do for 17 days and wouldn't mind a scenic RV adventure that might include the Coca Cola headquarters in Atlanta, Land Between the Lakes in TN, or maybe Cape Canaveral for a couple days, let me know. The Beast can sleep four (six if you're a tiny jawa). Hotel in Orlando is on your own, though (staying at Extended Stay, already got a roomie). If you just can't afford a hotel and don't mind the humid heat (no electric hookup for A/C and can't run generator at night), then you can sleep in the Beast for the duration. Does anyone have a large battery-operated fan, just in case I do get someone to sleep in it?

edit: I might go to Universal/Harry Potter on Monday after CVI. Wouldn't mind going with a group. Also, there is a rocket launch on Thursday 23rd at Kennedy Space Center. Thinking of renting a car and going.

I'll be going! I'm actually from FL too so if you guys have any questions let me know. I know my way around Orlando pretty well. My mom was so excited to hear I'd be coming back to FL for this Smile.

I think I am now leaning towards flying and taking only my ERS costume. No RTF, HRS or TB/TK. Travel light to reduce cost.

Still trying to decide to book my flight now, or 3.5 months in advance as is recommended by travel deal web sites.
Unfortunately Southwest hasn't openned that block of dates yet.

Needing more vacation time (family trip to the northwest), I decided to fly instead of driving. Used my airline miles and got a round trip for $7.50.

Wow!

I've never been able to use airline miles for anything. I fly only once, maybe twice a year at best, sometimes not at all. My miles expire before I can ever accumulate enough for even a free drink.

Besides flying to get mileage/points, I charge everything. The key is to treat the credit card like a debit card and payoff the balance every month.

We have received more than seven free airline tickets and have enough for at least five more. The other part is to keep your airline accounts current in activities or you loss your mileage.

By the way, the free tickets are not truly free; you still have to pay the taxes. Domestic has been running under $10; international usually are under $80.
