I usually go through Genesis custom sabers for my stuff. I like parks well enough froma dress hilt and maybe stunt saber pov but in terms of blades that are bright, make noise as well, Parks is still using light only. The hyperbright ones seem to also have holes in the bottom for the batteries now which I'm not taking a shinning to.

Yes, good points, all. I may consider comissioning a custom build from someone at fx-sabers. In fact, I have a PC-L that I've tried wiring into an MHS hilt myself, but to no avail. In fact, I have a few sketches I have lying around for sabersmiths, but have never gotten around to contacting any to the point where I go through with it. But now, with me hopefully getting a seasonal job (and thus the funds), maybe I should reconsider that avenue. Jay, could you send me a PM with some info on how I should proceed? The only reason I'm still considering Parks is that I am in LOVE with his hilts. Plus, it says that he accepts custom builds, and I figured it'd be sweet to have a custom Parks. So I guess it just depends on putting an emphasis on either electronics or hilt hardware.

Parks can take up to 12 weeks for one of their stock designs to arrive to you, I'd hate to think about what it would take for a custom.

Not 100% sure I've ever actually seen a Parks Custom though.

Well, its decided! I'm not gunna go through Parks OR Hyperdyne. Once I get my money together, I'm contracting Jay to make one of his brass series sabers for me. And let's just say this.....it might get a little...toast-y... Mr. Green

Please share pics of your toasty new saber when you get it, it's always cool seeing community sabersmiths works in action Smile

Oh, for sure! We still need to work out the details, and I still need to get the money together, but I now know what I'm working toward!

So, long time, no post! Well, its finished. Jay has completed his beautiful work on BS-26, my new saber! The demo video is up, final pics up under the build log on FX. It will be on its way as soon as Jay gets the charger for it, and I am just blown away by his work. I must thank you all for showing me the light (buh dump bump!), and thank you Jay for initially commenting in this very thread, to start me on the road to my first CF saber! Smile I'll be posting a review of it, here and on FX as soon as it gets here, but for now-heres the link to Jay's demo vid!

This one certainly turned out nice, I'm sure you'll love it Valon! It's currently one of my personal favorites out of all of the brass ones I've done so far....I actually like it better than my own. Razz

Wow, that's really saying something! I like CS-X. But I think I'll love BS-26!
