I told myself I'd enjoy my TK storm trooper for at least a year, I'll probably clone up then. The kids seem to identify with the clones now, so gotta move with the times. A lot depends on whether I get a tax cheque this year.
I'll post up a build thread if I start anything.
Who knows I may meet a bunch of rebels at the 3D Phantom Menace opening.

Ha Ha ... Yes! Enjoy the white plastic for a while, but whatever Rebel costume you decide on, you will always be welcome.

Heya Angelman. Best thing about being a jedi is that they are pretty easy to do. And cheap enough. So long as you stay human and go Old Republic style Razz, isn't that right Tiri Laughing

*lol* Jedi is a very comfortable costume in most cases, a good starting point & nice to have in unfavourable trooping conditions *lol*

I'm thinking that come winter I re-asses my options. But Jedi robes, that many layers in 35 degree central Queensland heat = Evil or Very Mad
It also depends on what and how many charity events the other members up here find for us to do, I'm pretty sure the Camp Quality events are going to be outdoors ones.
I suppose it always good to have options.

You're definately correct about the heat issue, especially if you have good quality (heavy) materials for your Jedi robes. Even down here in Brisbane it can be hot and uncomfortable in summer with 3 or more layers on, but Master Skywalker is right - A Jedi is a great starting costume. They are probably one of the easiest to make and least expensive.

Dropping by and saying hi. I'm another RL/501st Redback member. Heat is always an issue, thought of a Rebel Fleet Trooper or RFT, they are light and heat friendly. rft

Well we think Lisa is going to look pretty awesome as a white dress ANH Princess Leia.

So I'm looking at doing a Han Solo ANH to fit in with that.

Anyone know where I can get the right wig for Han?

And a DL44 blaster?

Thanks,

Michael & Lisa
