thanks, the tutorials have helped me get started. Ive made adjustments and corrections from movie photos. So far so good.

Please review the Costume Standards re: your vest, especially the chest channels. You may run into some problems with the judges on that.

It not finished yet. I followed the tutorial that's posted.
There are more channel already there you just can't see them in the picture Very Happy

The vest in order to see it I just pushed the hose pieces in so it would show up in the picture. other than that it looked flat I have quite a bit of work left on itl doing the rotj verson

and requested order for leg flares to be made.

I found gluing (2 part epoxy) and screwing (well with a bolt vs. screw) worked really well keeping the leg flares in place. I didn't see a bolt so I wasn't sure if you've done it yet or not.

Elvis Trooper's flares generally come pre-drilled for a #6 machine tap. About 15 seconds to spin it through. I put a finishing washer under the screw heads to keep from pulling through the fabric. You can unscrew them in a few seconds if you ever change belts or holders.

Jon is gently suggesting that before you finish up your vest, to double check the actual films or pictures fron the actual films. There is a distinct pattern to the ribs (it's not a solid "front" of ribbing).
