Your worshipfulnesses... /bow

I'm looking for a holster for a republic blaster - the kind Padme uses (without the barrel extension) like the one below.

Does anyone have a source for either a vendor or a pattern for the holster? Preferably in black leather?

Thanks!

Dan

Any film images of the holster? I have done 5 RFT belts an holsters can't be much harder and would give it a try with some reference images, if someone else doesn't know of a maker.

This is the best pic I can find of the holster - it's a Rubies belt from a certain auction site, so please take it with a grain of salt...

Here's a promo image closeup of Portman sporting the holster.

I'm not a personal fan of how high up it rides - I think it would look good in a low slung holster (for those of us not striving for accuracy).

There's not a lot of design on it, so I assumed it would be simple enough... I just lack the skill and tools to make it happen.

Maybe I should just get the Rubies and spraypaint it. lol

You pretty much hit the nail on the head with getting the above belt and painting the holster black. The holster is actually not bad, but the rest is pretty flimsy. I offer a fully decked out belt, pouch, holster set up for the arena costume and have to do a fair amount of mods to the pouches, but very little needs to be done to the holster. I also ditch the crappy plastic belt and attach the pouches and holster to a leather belt.

I can probably make you a belt with the holster... I just need an idea of how you want it to sit. I may even be able to get a leg strap going if you want.
