Hey there Rouge Base, I've been following the 501st/Rebel Legion for some time now with the intent to join, but haven't had a decent costume until recently. Plus I was at the last BYU home game and saw some members there at an event for "The Clone Wars" TV series, and that convinced me to finally make an account here. I figured I'd introduce myself and get to know some people before actually applying though. (Plus I think I need 2-3 more parts for my suit to qualify)

I reside in Provo, UT at this time. Mainly attend classes, while looking for part time work.

My suit would either fit under the Obi Wan (III) category or generic jedi. I'll have to get some pictures up later to see what you all think.

I'm really pumped to finally be doing this! Hopefully I am accepted once I apply and can join your ranks of awesomeness!

Hey there friend, are you a BYU student? I am, if you're looking to meet fellow Jedi here. I've just finished my costume and I'm getting ready to submit it for approval, and I've got a few resources you can go to if you need any help. Roguesock is at the same point - that's 3 of us now prepping our costumes! Awesome news for the Ilum temple!

Glad to have yet another Jedi shaping up - come join the ranks! (name that hymn? Lol) PM me if you have anything I can help with!

Welcome aboard. We have a few members in the Provo/Orem area, so we'll probably be having an "soft armor party" soon.

Take a look through the standards and see what you're missing and then let us know. We may have local resources or something we've worked with before online.

glad to have you with us.

Sweet!

What parts are you still missing? What parts do you have and where are they from? As Tag mentioned, him and I are in the same boat, so any assistance I can provide please just ask.

Heck yes you need to get some pictures up! Let's see what you have so far Smile.

Just to get a taste, you should register and go to the Geex Expo, and come meet everyone with me. Tag is good to go to join them in costume (we will get there), but until then would be fun to see the inhabitants of Rogue Base doing their thing.

Anyways best of luck, excited to see your progress!

Indeed I plan on going, so far as I can find a ride up to Sandy. It would be great to see everybody there! And definitely go to Roguesock for resources; he has found some gorgeous stuff!

Now show us some pictures dude! I'm excited to see everybody else's costumes coming together Smile

So what's up dude, any progress? I want to see what you've got in the works!

Oh, and if you need a job urgently I know a few places here in Provo that are hiring. Just let me know!

Never can have too many members. Nice to have you Crazed One.

What do you have completed on your costume?

What do you still need to complete?

Alright here's what I got
Here's the boots, pretty average

Belt with 2 pouches, nothing fancy

Heres the Obi Wan FX lightsaber (removable blade). The clip is just the one that came with it, so I'll have to upgrade to a better match.

I built this one from BYB. Working LED's and all. I currently have a saber being commissioned by Vaders Vault that takes some designs from this one.

And here's the full robe. The lightsaber kind of weighs down the belt.

Let me know what ya think, what can be improved, anything!

Dude that's lookung great! I would make sure to iron it in places and then get some food capsules, which can be found at civilizedgalacticgear.com. Oh and pull down the tunic so it covers more of your seat and legs. Wink Do you need a covertech clip dude? I have an extra if you wanna buy it. Just let me know!

Would it be possible to maybe support your obi/belt by putting hidden snaps in?

Welcome to Rogue Base. This is the best group of people you'll ever work with.

I agree, it looks like you just need to make your belt a bit tighter around the waist.
