I would pass them. I advocated for boots like these to be accepted..
..but having worn them, I can (also) tell you they are hot and clammy and they don't breathe.
in hindsight, they're not much fun to wear. Confused

I'm looking at a pair of russian officer boots on ebay.
http://cgi.ebay.com/Soviet-USSR-Military-Boots-Officers-/380318794755
for the extra $20, you'd be happier with something like this. Wink

(the description = 'babelfish:fail' ; I would Email first, to confirm sizes)

(and/or search "russian military boots" for other vendors. there's tons of these on Ebay)

Ok so I was working on my mauser air soft conversion and had it on the couch and my friend sat on it and the mauser broke where the barrel connects. My question is how far down the barrel does the flash hider connect. I thought about just connecting it where the barrel connects but thought it might be too short that way.

That sucks. Crying or Very sad

Lichtbringer is the guy for all things blaster, but here is a reference photo from my Master Replicas ESB blaster:

It's basically 2". If you don't have that much barrel left, try gluing a metal rod or wooden dowel rod into the broken piece; leaving about an inch or so of dowel past the break. Then glue the rest back into the weapon. If there is still a visible crack, fill it with contour putty (available at local hobby shops) sand it out and repaint it. Once you attach the flash-hider, you won't be able to tell if the barrel is solid or hollow, so you should be fine.

Hope this helps, good luck with your repairs and keep us posted on your progress! Smile

May the Force be with you,

Brian

Thanks!!! That's exactly what I needed. Upon further examination it actually broke off with the piece still inside it so I'm pretty sure I can get that part out and glue it back with no trouble at all.
