Here's some pics of my new Jedi costume. What do you guys think?

Any ideas on how to keep the tabards attached? Do you stitch them to the tunic or use velcro?

And most importantly, do you think this looks good enough to join?

Thanks everyone.

Hey Brian, Looking good! Thumbs up
I have seen both ways you mentioned to attach the tabbards. I prefer snaps or a small patch of velcro at the top of the shoulders myself but stitching them works good as well. Just so long as they stay in place.
Some folks attach them behind the belt also, depends on how much they move around on you.

Got my boots in today. So between the costume and the boots am I ready to apply? Or do I need some more pieces?

Man I look fat in those pictures.

The only things you might consider are some belt items such as pouches, food capsules and covertech clip.

Yes, you would need to take a full head to toe shot, both side to side view head to toe, and a rear shot head to toe. Lastly you would need to take a photo without your robe.

Pouches

If you need a light saber I suggest ultra sabers.

You can find some on there cheap and they add to the costume. I suggest the prophecy saber.

Another suggestion for a lightsaber hilt is the following link.

http://bigyellowbox.tripod.com/

This website shows several styles you can make yourself with parts from a hardware store. This is a less expensive way to go. Alex is right, Ultra sabers are great (and they have a blade that lights up), but this is another less expensive option. As far as the tabards go, I used velcro on my shoulders, and they work great for me. Everthing looks great!!

I second what Aarn-Ja Teneb said about that site. The two I wear on my belt were made from the plans off that site.
