I have resumed work on the ERT / Rebel Commando. I went by JoAnn's a couple days ago and got some more spray paint, but they did not have all the paints that recommended in the Trooper sections, but I do have the Olive Bright and I got one called Prairie Grass. Other than those for painting my pants I used a camoflage Olive Drab spray paint and a regular dark green.
If a anyone in the Kansas City area is working on the Endor Trooper I can loan you paints and/or assist with the spray painting.

Hey Chris,

I'm working on this as well and have yet to do the spray paint for the pants. It would be great to get some help with the paint on them. Hoping to be back out that way in August for an event I think it is.

Try Michael's. I haven't had much luck at JoAnns, but I just got a batch of these at Michaels. Just ask for the paint cage --if they have 2, ask for the one with the floral paints.

Hey Rich, yeah I knew you were working on one, so let me know when you'll be back to this side of the state.

I washed my pants after painting them, and all the colors faded a little (as expected) but the regular spray paint I got from Home Depot held up just as good as the floral paint I got from JoAnns.

My vest came in last week, and my boots came in today.

The boots are a little roomy, as I think the conversion of sizes is off on the Israeli site. I doublechecked my work boots and they are a size 9 US, 8 UK, and 42 Eur. But although I ordered the size 9 US, and I got size 43's. Considering the shipping back and forth to Israeli, I'm just adding an extra set of insoles, and it will be good.
The boot-ankle gaiters are about half done, then I'll do some test photos of the progress so far.

Rebel Commando is getting closer.

Helmet is ordered, boot gaiters are almost done, and bandolier is coming along as seen in last picture. Vest is by MountainPrincess Stephanie, and the A281 is the tk560 resin kit.

These are some test shots I did to see how it was coming together, as well as get a look at how the pants looked (thinking of adding a little more dark green paint).

Thanks again for the help with the pants today, Chris! I'm at about 80% now with the activities over the weekend. Now to get it finished up for Dragon Con.

NP, Rich; and have fun at DCon.

I finished my bandolier today, and recieved my soft helmet and donut in the mail today, so I'm getting closer as well.

I was working on the helmet some today, and it will fit fairly snugly at the same time as moderately comfortable as is, but do people normally attach the soft helmet and donut together and if so how??

Rich, you got pictures of your Rebel Trooper yet? You said it was almost done and should be ready for DCon.

No pics, I did a quick test fit of it last night with most of my stuff, but I was flying solo so nobody to take pics. Hopefully I'll get a few good shots from dragon con that I can post up.
