Evolutiontoys has flash hiders I'm a little too new at this to be able to tell how accurate the piece is. If you find a metal scope mount let me know where from please.

So I've been thinking about it, and I've changed my mind; looks like I'm going to build a Greedo Killer after all. I've been checking out all the pictures and doing some research on the blasters, and I think it would be really cool to be a little different.

Let the hunt begin!

The Greedo killer is by far my favorite of all of the Han blasters.

Good luck on the flash hider. It is proving to be really hard for me to find. CE is doing a run on the RPF for the scope mounts right now.

Yeah, I think the CE run of the mount is what pushed me over the edge to do the Greedo Killer. There's another thread for him to do a run of the front grill in metal, instead of resin. If anyone wants to get in on it, here it is:

(It's in the Junkyard, so you have to be a member to get to that link)

I might have found someone to sell me his M9 flash hider! Woot! Hopefully it doesn't fall through.

On a separate note, I think I'm going to just change the title of this thread and make it my Solo build WIP thread...

Which Russian boots did you get. Are they a regular seller on Ebay?

I actually got them from someone on RPF, so I'm not sure of the source.

Just picked up a set of used (already weathered!) Weaver scope rings. Getting closer! Unfortunately, now I'm out of disposable income for a few weeks. Next acquisition will be a Denix Mauser with wood grips...

Just got this in the mail:

Compliments of ElvisTrooper. Very well done. It has a few minor dings on it, most likely from shipping as he mailed it in an envelope, but no worries - it's weathered now...

I think all of them have their own charme. Cool

Don´t! Shocked

The Greedo Killer was build on a MGC - they have plastic grips. So you better use a standard Denix with plastic handles

Only the live firing (original) Mausers had wooden grips: The ANH-Hero (in the middle of my pic), Lukes ESB Blaster, and one of the ROTJ (I believe the one with Bolo-grips (more "square" handle), as there are no Bolo replicas out there.

Havok69 it seems I'm one step behind you most of the way. Looks like you have quality pieces.

Lichtbringer I have gone back over most of your older threads on theRPF now and you do great work.

I bow to your superior knowledge Lictbringer - thanks, you just saved me $20!

Hey Bonded Hawk - since I'm officially broke, I'm giving you two weeks to catch up to me! On a separate note; this is my costume for NYCC 2012, any chance you'll be there? It would be pretty cool to compare costumes in person considering we're following the same path...
