Nice design, would make a cool patch/coin.
(I think the 501st black widows have one as well)

Speaking of Rouge Squadron, who's in charge of that these days? I asked to join in December and still haven't heard anything. Wraith asked in September and there hasn't been anything posted for her either.

The RLSC is trying to track that down right now. We should have concrete information soon.

Please stand by for further orders..........

If we have permission to use the artwork and there is interest, I'd be willing to do a coin/patch run of this design.

YES!! Awing

So if the X-wing is a P-51 Mustang, and the Y-wing is a P-38 Lightning, then is the A-wing this?

(sorry, I'm partial to Luftwaffe stuff)

Umm is good but i dont think so... I am inclined more for the F4 Corsair, but the hellcat could also be an option, little and fast

Corsair

Hellcat

Maybe

(De Havilland Venom) - or something of the early jet era, more than a woodply rocket.

If you forget the symbols on the plane - I like the idea of comparing the Me163 with the A-Wing. Just a cockpit mount to an engine with nearly no wings around it. Fast but tricky to handle.
BTW, the german nickname for the Me163 is "Kraftei", means "Power egg". Seems to fit the A-Wing, too...

Yeah sorry, I'm use to those symbols... I do German in WWII reenacting. (NOT a Nazi though!! ---disclaimer)
I'm sure the A-wing is a lot more stable than the Komet too... that fuel was super-volatile, one half of the mix would disintegrate flesh on contact! They had mechanical mishaps that made them blow up in midair, not to mention the landings were scary (land on a skid on grass). Germans came up with some interesting stuff, but they should have just concentrated on cranking out practical things instead of "wonder weapons". Good thing they didn't! But I digress Smile

Ah yes, I forgot about the Venom. The Brits made another tiny jet too in the 50's-60's, I've seen it at airshows now & then.
