So, speaking of the Denix Mauser. I havent gotten my flash hider yet, but just looking at the barrel has got me thinking its long. Do I need to trim down the front of the barrel any?

Yeah... before you continue you may want to do some reading on blaster builds and on the RPF. All but 1 of Hans blasters requires the barrel to be shortened... and that blaster was a cut scene, so it doesn't count anyways.

I am at work right now so I am limited and can't link, so tonight I will post a few things on it.

Sorry I've been so quiet...time got away from me it seems, lol.

Hopefully I'll have most everything done this week, and may even be able to debut it at Contagion this weekend. I've got my gunbelt from MP, my belt tools. I'm putting paint on the Denix and parts and should have it assembled in the next few days. The wife knocked out the shirt today, and should finish up the jacket and pants over the next few days. We'll see!

Is that the Dawn Anderson Jacket pattern. I am about to Make one. Also, does your wife have a pattern for the shirt? If she does that would be a valuable resource!

Yes it is. She got it done pretty much in a day. She does have a working pattern for the shirt, but I know she's not happy with it; she's already talking about version 2. I'll see if she's willing to make a copy of what she's got. She's a bit of a perfectionist. I'm sure she'll have no problem sharing it, but I know she won't share it if she thinks it's crap (in her mind, lol).

OK. She said she's more than willing to share it with the world....after her next version. There's a couple of things she sees now that the shirt is together that she can fix/improve upon. So if you can be patient just a little longer, she'll have something she's ready to share with everyone.

Here's the main photo submitted:

I've got the details needed for formal....riding seam, pin tuck seam, embroidered blood stripes. Submitted some close up pics for those.

Here's the blaster:

It's a Denix replica with CE parts. I'm also using CE belt tools and droid caller on an MP gunbelt. Hope to hear soon!
