One of my projects for today...
As Squad Leader for the Renegades...
I promised to always help with costume pieces for any aspiring RFT

I have spent the morning cutting and sanding the pieces for a RFT bucket...now to assemble...

Who can it be?

Who will be the next Renegade?

Very Happy

done...

Very Happy

For the belt boxes I used something different...
I didn't like the chrome stuff that came with the set....
but used a product called "silver leaf"...
it is a silver paste and if you don't like the overall look...
you can always put the silver tape over it...

I didn't cut the area out for the belt to go through as I don't know which belt option you will go with..
my belt is only 1 3/4 inch wide rather than the 2" wide because you can get a buckle for it that is actually easier to cut the corners off for the correct look...
and...
it is only 1/4"
Very Happy
My belt boxes are actual metal boxes...

what size are you John? I purchased a bunch of the "real deal" Navy work shirts at only 2 for $15.00 (you need two shirts to make the RFT shirt)...those shirts are disappearing as the Navy has started to use a different shirt...

Seriously though..
I am whittling down all of my extra costume pieces...and plan on putting up some of the extra stuff up for sale on the Yahoo Groups soon...

For this particular bucket/RFT project I utilized my last RFT buckle and last hard-hat liner that I had on hand...

and I don't plan on "restocking"...lol..
anyone seriously thinking of the RFT...you might want to think about the shirts...

I also have one Hasbro RFT/Rebel blaster left...and when they are gone...they are gone...the stores haven't sold this blaster since 2005 or 2006

Awesome job, Phyllis. I don't suppose you have an extra Endor helmet kit? I'm seriously thinking of doing the ROTJ Leia...

The RFT bucket is a kit. When the kit arrives, the pieces are just as they were pulled off the vac machine. You have to trim them all, sand, and then assemble it.

Renegade Sqaud leaves ours white (no need to paint), a Squad in California painted theirs light gray.

And....since this bucket will be delivered tomorrow at the St. Pat's Parade, I can release the intel that the bucket and belt boxes are...

Tara Turner's

I will be very excited to have another Renegade...

I have also twisted the arm of John Hart from WI to be the next Renegade...
I am working on his bibbed shirt...
and..
when he orders his bucket...
he will have it shipped to me to cut, sand and assemble..

Go Renegades!!
