I don't know someone who makes them but I think they should be rather easy to make them yourself.
The mask itself looks like an oxygen mask used in hospitals over here in germany with some modifications. The most obvious is the strap. And the attached hose looks like those used on medical respirators used in an crit care unit or in the operation theater by anesthesiologists.
I don't know what the actual airtank looks like due to the lack of good reference pictures in my collection.

Hope that helps.

By the way: they are in the belly of a space slug. The space slugs mouth opens into space. So that should mean that there must be 0 pressure like in the open space, right? And therefore they must wear pressure suits like astronauts and not just breath masks...!

I would say you need to make it of scrap - shouldn't be to hard I think.

Nice ref pics! But I still havn't found a good reference picture of the airtank to which the hose is attached.

just type "oxygen mask" into Ebay. I did a quick search and you can get different types, for only a couple of euro

I still have no idea of the exact mask that was used... and I have spent years trying to find out. If anyone finds out what the exact model used was... Please let us know.

Very nice ref pics! Seems like Chewie is wearing a different type of mask.
I don't know the actuall seller. And even if you can identify it I think it would be nearly impossible to find one of the original mask in a good condition cause those items are usually single-use items. But the cheap and simple oxygen masks used in hospitals today are really close.
Have a look here:

http://shop.strato.de/epages/61455942.sf/de_AT/?ObjectPath=/Shops/61455942/Products/D8110603

I know some of these sites are from Germany but the pics should speak for themself. And there are mostly the same in the US I guess.
Of course you would have to add the other parts like a new big strap and the small metall parts (except the nose clamp cause that's already there).

The hose looks like breathing tubes like those used with respirators as I stated before.
Here are some links just to show what would be the best options and what you should looking for in my opinion:

http://www.dahlhausen.de/cgi-bin/tradepro/shop/frontde/tradepro.cgi?func=det&wkid=9505428454000&rub=63293&root=59220&artnr=355&az=&sort=&pn=8

http://intersurgical.de/produkte/anasthesie-systeme-wiederaufbereitbar

http://www.medutek.com/search.php?id=199&lang=de

The hose could be the hardest part to find and maybe a bit expansive.
Hope that helps.

Yeah the one Air Mask looks like it could be modded out to be pretty darn close.

Great finds I think I might add a few of these to the archives later in the week.

Hello!

Just today we got few containers of medical surplus to my work. And there was several of these:

The leaflet says:

"One medium concentration see-thru adult oxygen mask
Patent no. 2,843,121
Disposable: for single...
... Hudson oxygen therapy sales co.
27711 Diaz road P.O. box 66, Temecula, CA 92390-0066

81041-12 6-86 Assembled in Mexico. Hudson, 1986"

And in the mask there is the same patent number and text "disposable" and small number 13.

Hope this helps atlest somehow.

I can ask from our prop designer can I have more of those. I can try o trade those to something with her.

I'm sure you can get a plastic reducer to connect the smaller fitting to the larger hose, or else glue it directly to the mask

Yes it does. That white piece is removable.
