Wow, the spirited discussion on this topic is a tough act to follow, but follow it I must, for I seek the advice of the experts Smile

These aren't submission photos, just photos for your critique, to see what else I need. Note in the third photo, I am holding the hem up so you can see my boots. Normally not that much shows.

Comments & suggestions welcome. I want this little Jawa to find a new home here!

Lookin good. You need to fray the edges of your sleeves and bottom of your robe. And if you look at the hood pics that Jada posted in the other thread you just need to make the seams overlap/cross over where they meet just under your chin.

Frayed hem, check.

For the hood closure, I have it temporarily closed with a velcro tab until I am happy with the position. What do you usually close it with? A button? A small piece of snap tape?

Thanks for the input. Now I just need to practice breathing in that getup!

The robes really should be longer.

Also, with the bottom of the hood you should fold it under so that it is "bloused". Very Happy

Once I got my hood where I liked it, I had it sewn shut. It makes it easier to get dressed in a hurry and also you have to worry about it coming undone during troops.
