I agree that is does appear to be flexible, or rather contoured to Harrison Ford's back. It looks too rigid (to me, anyway) to be a loose chain.

Just my take on it, anyway...

This pic makes me think... it looks like a chain with bicep binders, doesn't it?

Well, finally I ended up doing this last weekend:

The only thing I need to complete it is details. Any suggestions? Painting? Decals? etc, etc, etc.

So in this picture you can see there are parallel sets of square studs that are on both sides of the center disc on the arm restraints. It also would appear from what I can see that the closures are actually on both side and not hinged. So the closure is of a clamp style shackle and not a hinge closure, you can see both bolts on the front and back of the arm restraints. He is also sporting a nice pair of classic style wrist restraints... common with TK's. I would just make them a bit thinner IMO.

Hope this stuff helps...

Good video to help you make your own.

I do know you can get these in different colors though...

I just submitted mine for approval. Are there any other approved Pre-Carbonite Han's?

Click on my profile to see the pics once it is approved...

I still have to do a build sheet on how I made the shackles and binders. they weren't too hard, but took a lot of time.

Dave

Here is a sneak peak...

It should be approved today or tomorrow.

http://www.rebellegion.com/forum/costume.php?mode=view&a=8685

I did a lot of freeze-framing on the blue ray.

The shackles are made of stainless steel, I fabricated them out of junctions for water piping. The binders are made of duct hangers. Cutting, bending, and drilling needed for both sets. I need to do a thread on them I suppose.

I noticed your photos are all archived, as I was looking to see what costumes you have.

"The costume has already been approved"

well done!

Yes, my costumes are archived, actually they wouldn't pass a re-judging, that's why I'm trying to update them... slowly... I'll send you a PM with some links of my former costumes, if you want...
