And if you're wearing the costume anywhere public, you will need footwear anyway. I bought a tandy moccasin kit and made it up- once I lose some weight, they will go nicely with the force unleashed costume.

Shaak Ti dosen't wear shoes for her spicies believes shoes cut you off from the planet spititualy, but in puplic you do need shoes I suggest black boots or sandles that will be covered by long skirt in which Shaak Ti wears in SWE2-SWE3 and SWCW Volume1-2 NOT the SWCW Seasons.

I too am working on Shaak Ti's costume for my girlfriend you can use some pictures from photobucket, Star Wars wiki, the 3.5 figure is a scle modle you can use it may not be accurate for hight perpeces, but the skit can be useful for the material you'll need to be as close to Shaak Ti as you can get. I just started on Rebel Legion so I haven't figured out how to post pics yet if someone could help me out with that I greatly appreciate it. Thank You

Actually, in her deleted death scene on the ROTS DVD, after she falls over, it cuts to Anakin and Obi-Wan's reaction, then back to Shaak Ti, where you can see her boots! Wink

The sclupture is wax clay. it does not dry out. That allows you to work on it your leasure.

The cloak is creape wool I designed my own pattern to match her immage. This is the deleated Shaakti outfit from episode 3.

The latex is holding me up from finishing it. Money, I'd love to do this in foam latex but its way too expensive and I don't want to burn my house down. lol

Im going to do it in regular latex, I should be done before Galacticon I hope.
another 500.00 and Ill be done. so far Im at 1100.00. This thing better turn out or Im going cry alot!!!!

I too am working on Shaak Ti's costume for my girl friend, but I'm using cotton for several reasons:

1: It's more comfertable for her head.

2:The lekkus can be moved around as if they are part of the body.

3:Cost is efficent.

I do have a Q for you though what is the diffrence between regular latex and foam latex? What materials did you use for your costume?

Regular latex is thicker so it does weigh more. Foam is lighter and more flexible from what I understand. I dont have the equipment for the foam. It take an oven and the head is way too big for may little kitchen lol.

So its regular Laytexs. Im still smoothing it. Im take a long time to get it the way I want it. Oince it is cast, and if it works. Im going to cut the latex from the mouth to down under the chin will be my own mouth. that way I can talk. lol

I think it will work out fine. Ive worn prosthetics before. But Im not going to cast until Im happy with the resemblance. Im picky that way. lol

In the picuture of the costume it's missing the underskit that makes it all stand out. I use like a bridal under skirt.

I wear boots under my skirt. Now way Im going bare foot.
no one can see my feet any way in my costume. lol
