Inspired by Folard-Toz's awesome ANH Ben Kenobi stunt hilt, I sat down last week and put it together with what I learned from the Big Yellow Box Style V design, and this is what I came up with. The beauty of it is that every piece came from my local Lowes hardware store (and a couple of items from Wal-Mart, now that I think of it...) I'm hoping it would fly for an Obi-Wan Ep III formal costume:

Thoughts, fellow Jedi?

Very nice job! It should do just fine on an approval pic. Only too glad to help! Ben

Looks good. I can't see any reason this wouldn't be approved.

Thanks for the kind words. I can post some pictures and a parts list, probably later this week. Most of the parts can be found in Folard-Toz's tutorial and the Big Yellow Box Style V parts list. There were a few parts I substituted/replaced, but not many. I'll get something posted this week.

A series of 13 or so 1 1/4" slip-joint poly washers stacked on top of each other on a 1 1/4" sink tail piece, CA-glued down and cut down the sides with a Dremel. Then I coated the whole thing in black Plasti-Dip. I was pretty happy with the way it came out. I don't have any WIP pics per se, but I can take some pictures with spare pieces I have lying around the shop to give you the idea...
