Great photo shoot. Lots of fun. Great to meet all the other Solos. It was funny how when we first meet each other we immediately check each other out head to toe checking out the costume Laughing

Won't have photos downloaded to share until next week but I saw that we did make the official Star Wars blog (scroll down)

Looking good boys. I ended up not bringing my han feeling a little self concious about the Bloodstripes and my Blaster. Steve send me the links we talked about so I can upgrade them

Great Pics, guys Cool

-===================-

@Ky-Wan: I upgraded mine and it turned out to be quite easy afterall.
here are the pics / "how to" instructions.
the first two steps are self-explanatory;
the next two steps are best explained with a single pic.
((I'll also post this in the main fringe section, in the pants thread))

-===-

step 1: surgically remove old stripes with a seam ripper or "stitch ripper".

step 2: buy machine-embroidered bloodstripe on Ebay

step 3: fold side-edges under, and place bloodstripes stripes on the pants. pin them in place.

step 4: stitch them in place. (stitch sideways; NOT lengthwise).

RESULT:

using this method, it doesn't really matter if the background of the Ebay stripe matches the pants exactly. it still looks good.

(and besides.. the color isn't really that far off; the flash is exaggerating the color difference in those photos; in "real life", the color is actually much closer) Wink
