Um, yeah, maybe Matt meant one of the easier costumes, not the cheapest. Not sure what the cheapest would be... I still suspect if you can get a saber for under 100 bucks and know how to sew your own robes that a new republic jedi can be affordable (they don't require as many accessories as old republic).

And ANH senatorial Leia if you can sew and make the belt yourself, and get lucky finding some boots under 100 can be one of the less expensive costumes too. Again, you need to get lucky with hair color because brunette is easy to match with very inexpensive bags of hair extentions, blondes and light brunettes like me have to pay over 100 dollard just for matching hair to make buns. Gosh, there is no cheap costume!

Just about all costumes here are gonna run people a few hundred bucks.

I've got a buddy from the 501st ready to join the Endorious Basterds Very Happy
I'll be helping him build his outfit in the next couple of weeks. He's going to help me with my armor plates for Boba Fett, so that's a fair trade! Very Happy Very Happy
I need to see if the gal who made mine and Fred's soft helmets can still do them. I hope so!!

Possibly one more from the 501st may join too. He expressed interest last weekend, so keeping fingers crossed!

Also, my gf wants to join in the fun, so I'm building her a Endor Commando outfit!

Our squad is growing! We'll have to start working on the patch logo!! Very Happy

Very cool Rex! Thanks for recruiting to the Rebel Cause. Should be fun to get a good Endor Squad together. I mean, seeing we are Endor Base and all! Sounds like the Fett parts is a nice trade.

Thought I'd post some pics of our Endorious Basterd outfits! I've changed mine around quite a bit and have just started my gf Cindy's outfit. Who had a great time by the way and can't wait for the next one!

Still have a few more things I plan on adding to my outfit- did you notice the Stormie thermal detonator on the back of my belt? Very Happy Of course, now that I said that, there's no pics to show it... Rolling Eyes

Need to work on Cindy's helmet as well.

Once you get Cindy's new boots you'll have to submit her profile photos!

Mine was purchased already painted and put together from Mike1536.

I also have a kit from TK560, which I'm still thinking of putting together in the future.

A word of caution about Mike's helmets, if your head is small like mine, the hole will be too big and you'll have a gap between the soft helmet and the donut, which should not be there. These are not quite one size fits all. Probably more like one size fits most. If it is too small, that is an easy fix with a dremmel (just gradually make the hole bigger by sanding it down wherever it needs it).

So yeah, I have a small head, a bit of a gap, and eventually when I have more time will make my own kit to fit my head and can hopefully sell off the old Mike donut. But that's a ways down the road.
