problems with saber....

I'm trying to make the #5 saber from big yellow box. I'm having some trouble getting the sump pump fitting on the pipe. More, the photo looks different from the time he cut the pump section to the time he attached it.....it looks more .....well, boated.

any suggestions? I can supply photos if it would help??

Photos will help, But you are local to a few of us Jedi. My wife and I live in snellville also. I would be happy to take a look at it if you would like some help.
