Hi everyone!

We've been playing with the idea for some time now, to buy millitary barets at a local american stock and add our logo to it. So we have something to wear on our heads when we don't have our X-wing, clone helmet or RFT helmets on.

I have 2 questions for you:
-Who wants such a baret?

- What color should we choose? My suggestions were blue or light grey. Those are 2 colors that match our logo's and uniforms. Does anyone have another suggestion?

If there are enough people interested, I'm willing to go on a baret hunt and see how much it would cost ust to have pins made to add to our barets as logo.

PS: For those who don't know what a baret looks like, here's a picture:

I absolutely love the idea, like I've said before many times Smile but I don't know about the colours yet. I like blue and grey from the logo but I don't know if it fit's the orange form x-wings. It's perfect for RFT's though.

Maybe a black one is best? Black can combine with almost every costume I think of. It's not really original but it's maybe the most beautiful.

Black reminds me to much of imperials. I think light grey would fit perfectly with the x-Wing uniforms. Just look at the pilots on Hoth. They have à lot of grey in combination with orange.

Just some info...

Some of the RLSC pilots of Rancor Squadron, Screaming Taun-Taun Squadron and Hazard Squadron use black berets to cover up their "helmet hair" when their buckets are off.

Allright! Now we're getting somewhere. I'll go and look for barets this weekend. I'm allready looking into dealers who can make us pins with our logo.

Hi everyone,

First of all, Stijn is right that it's beter to send a mailing even if it's with a direct link to the forum just to wake us up !

I also think that the baret is quite a nice idea.

Personnaly, I would rather go for a more colorful one. I don't fancy the grey idea. Black is not bad but a bit too dark side, and too common...
I would prefer a blue like in the U.N. painting. That way our fellow humans would be able to see and therefore recognise us from other galaxies far, far away...

In that same idea, I'm wondering if a yellow or orange one could be open for debate... ? I don't know. Maybe a bit too much...

Keep up the good work !

Fabrice. Ben
