From Steve at the Central Garrison…

We have been invited back to the Karl Oskar Days Parade in Lindstrom, MN.
(This is north of the Twin Cities in Chisago County.) We had a great time last year and they'd like to see us again. Here is the request from the parade coordinator:

Wondering if the Central Garrison and/or Rebel Legion have a desire to once again fend off intergalactic forces that occasionally descend up the Karl Oskar Days parade. Your force was indeed effective to ward off any forces that may have negatively affected the parade last year.

Please advise as soon as possible so we know where to work on the city’s deflector shields…..

This was about my favorite event we did last year, so I highly recommend this one. Comfortable route, slow pace, and close interaction with an EXTREMELY appreciative audience. Smile

Couple things I will mention... If your Force reflexes are not up to speed, please be aware that we did have a water balloon incident last year. No one ended up getting wet, but there was a close call. It was also pointed out to me that there was evidence of a silly string fight, though I don’t recall being near that when it happened. The crowds are very appreciative of us being there, but like any event, there is always a chance of there being a troublesome youth in attendance. I personally am not worried about a repeat of this incident, but if you have a costume that you fear getting at all wet, it is something to note.

I'll pull the float.

Good idea. A moving target is much harder to hit with water balloons. Laughing
