I wonder if he wears a sort of coverall/pants kind of thing under the outer robe? I'd love to see this costume be made, I don't think I've ever heard of anyone doing it before. Good luck with it! Smile

http://www.monstermakers.com/product/basic-latex-mask-making-kit.html

Just a general idea of some of the stuff used in making it. Pam (the one with the fantastic Twi'leks) has a ton of details on her site too and she gave me some pointers when I asked.

Other than that, I can't say I know all that much more than you, except when it comes to glueing and blending stuff on.

Difficult costume for your first mask. Hope you pull it off. Orn Free Taa is on my list to do as well.

It looks to me like he is wearing a two piece shirt and skirt under the blue coat.

I'm not on my computer with my reference pics at the moment, I'll try to see what else I've got.

For the design, here is a page that describes how to burn out velvet:

http://www.naergilien.info/tutorials/burnoutvelvet.htm

BTW, once you have the masked worked out, if you don't mind let me know, I might be interested in getting a copy, that's the one piece I'm not sure I can tackle.

I talked to a guy on another forum who said the magic number to get a decent priced mask commissioned from him is five people.

That is how you create the design on his brown inner robe.

Yeah, I always wondered why he had 4 lekku instead of 2. Is it like a law that all Twi'lek senators need to be corpulent mutants or something?

I guess you just adapt the process to include the extra limbs. How are you at scuplting?
