I was curious...

Parks has a belt clip:
http://www.saberkit.com/beltkit.html

The clip actually works with the covertec wheels, so any saber that has a covertec wheel.... it will hang from it.

Not the traditional covertec clip in the prequels per se... BUT... can it be approved still for Formal acceptance for an Old Republic Jedi, since it functions just as well for the covertec wheels?

Plus it has a hook on it too... so New Republic sabers that have a D-ring or Triangular-ring... can hook on it too... can it be approved for Formal acceptance for a New Republic Jedi?

More so concerned about it getting accepted for an Old Republic Jedi formal... but I threw in the New Repulic question... for those curious about it as well.

me, I would use it for new republic generic jedi but not old republic. for old republic I think the covertec is almost iconic; they stand out as unique and identifiable. plus, they're cheap. you can get the rectangular ones for $10 on ebay. ($5 for the rounded ones). plus shipping.

I recently bought one of these

I would use this for old republic jedi, before the parks' part. but again thats just me.
wait for an LCJ to chime in.

Yeah... it would best be permantly attached to the belt I have in existence... since the hilt makes the thinner belt loose.... BUT before I do that... I would like to know if it can work since it DOES work with all covertec wheels.

BUT... I think it's a nice multifunction clip... with the hook on it for the New Republic Jedi saber hilts...

Granted I already have the classic Covertec Clip... BUT... would like to use this one for the Old Republic costume I want to put together.. it goes REALLY well with the silver rivets and color scheme I have with my belt.
