Ok you Corellian, I would like your ideas on what event we can do as a base that is in the Corellian System (Tennessee, Kentucky and Mississippi). Post them in this thread.

You know I'm going to suggest ConNooga. Wink

All kidding aside, I'm the Programming Director this year, so if there's any panels that Corellian Base wants to run, let me know and I'll get them on the schedule. Corellian Base has a fan table reserved if you want it.

Don't know the future of AdventureCon as too many rumors are flying around, but I would guess that that one makes sense to continue being at. Wonderfest in KY?

Does Wonderfest have a web site?

Wait a min that would be a good idea if the event has a web site post it too. That will save time from looking it up.

Didn't Alex do a Toys for Tots thing down your way last year?

I second Wonderfest. I went for the first time last year to check it out incognito and while it's more of a modeling con I saw the MSG in costume was a big hit with the crowd.

Our other Louisville Con "Conglomeration" is supposed to be making a comeback next year after a year's absence. The hotel they had a contract with changed hands a couple of times and they lost their website so all they have (currently) is a facebook page.

It's April 9-11 2010. It's a fan run con that reminds me a lot of Chattacon from the way you describe it to me. Mostly literary guests. Some costumes but more of the RenFair variety from what I've observed but some killer room parties. People come that skip the con and just come for the room parties. Hopefully the new hotel management will be as open to the room party phenomenon as the previous ones were.

I was hoping to troop with the RL at Mid South Con this March. Anyone up to it?

I'll be at MidSouthCon for sure, was invited to be a costuming guest. I'd love to see a good turnout for the con next year Cool
