UPDATE: Tambo with the MSG will be coordinating this event. If you are planning to troop this please contact him through the MSG web-site or PM me and I'll send you his email address.

You will need to have a full length picture of your costume ready to submit in the next day or so.

As of now the show time is 3:30pm Sunday. We do not know if anyone trooping this who has not purchased a ticket will be allowed to attend the concert. If you have purchased a ticket and are trooping you must be out of costume during the concert, no costumes are allowed in the concert itself.

That's interesting about the decision to not allow costumes during the show. I attended the show in Dallas while I was down there for Fan Days III and there were a number of costumes that were worn during the show. Is that a decision specific to the Sommet Center?

That is specifically listed in the concert guidlelines for the 501st/RL and is what the concert coordinator told me. They may allow exceptions on a case by case if you have a nose bleed seat. Basically, they said they do not want anyone in costume to be a distraction from the show.

That makes sense. I was just curious. Just to clarify, I was not in costume when I attended in Dallas. I live just outside of Nashville and wouldn't mind helping out. I don't have a ticket and can't afford to get one at this point. I literally just got my approval and was officially made a member of the Legion today!

If it's not too late I may be able to help out (if needed). Just let me know.

This is from Tambo about this event.

--------------cut-------------------cut---------------cut----------------------

OK folks it is a GO. We have 20 Slots including handelers. I would like Handelrs in Officer uniforms if Possible if not then Garrison T-shirts.

I need so send them a full list of all attending Friday night. I NEED FULL FIRST AND LAST NAME and what costume you have. If I have not seen it I will need pics sent to me at TK1128@bellsouth.net I am the approval for this event not the venue..we set the standards not them. The Exhibit Coordinator is fine with me picking the costumes and honestly would not have it any other way.

Our show time is 3PM at the box office/will call area in front of the venue. We will be escorted in as a group. Doors open for the show at 4:30 so we will have 1 hour to get our stuff in and change. if you get lost call me.
Have all your equipment sealed...no weapons loose..make sure you can not see them. If you have a BFG that you can not fit in a bin then wrap it up.

There is no complimentary parking available at this venue.

Its because our costumes are a million times more realistic than a rubies costume and people are more likely to assume we're part of the show and focus on us, and try to get photos.

there arent many people who will chase down a rubies costume for a photo. they will for RL/501st costumes...

If you want to go, you totally should! I never planned on going as I assumed (at the time) that we'd have the info earlier and there'd be too many that wanted to go. So... now I have plans and can't go anyway.

I'm sure it'll be a fun troop, though!

Wow! That was an AWESOME show!
We took a few photos and have posted them on the Corellian Base Facebook page.
Had a great time, it was nice to see everyone and I enjoyed meeting some new members.
